Formula & Method
Business Days Formula:
Result Date = Start Date + N Business Days (skipping weekends)
The calculator iterates day by day from the start date, counting only Monday through Friday as business days. Saturdays (day 6) and Sundays (day 0) are automatically skipped.
Algorithm:
- Start from the day after the start date
- For each day, check if it is a weekday (Monday-Friday)
- If weekday, increment the business day counter
- If weekend, skip and do not count
- Stop when the business day counter reaches the target
